Hello, to those of you who were intrigued by the title of this topic.
Since we're currently doing a Nerdfighter themed mafia game, I thought it would be nice to have a place for all the Nerdfighters on this site to discuss decreasing world-suck, maybe even planning group meetings at conventions (Hint: I have never been to one and am desperate to do so) and other things related to Nerdfighteria.

So, the Kansas City Nerdfighter group is pretty active (but small) and I went to my second gathering two days ago. We met up at this shopping center, had lunch, had a white elephant gift exchange and then just wandered around and had lots of fun. It was a blast!

As far as conventions, I've never really been to one besides the local Kansas City Science Fiction convention that I grew up going to every year but I really really want to go to LeakyCon this year so we'll see if it happens.

Awesome! As far as I know, there are no Nerdfighter groups in New York (where I live). But Comic Con was there recently, so that's what I know.

The effyeahnerdfighters tumblr put together a catalog of all the local nerdfighter facebook groups so that would be the best place to look and see if there's a group near you.
