You can never have too much emoticon. I hope to someday write a post that uses all of them.

Remember the time before we knew how to transport the emoticons to this forum? Those were bad days. We had to express ourselves with words and things. This is so much better

That's actually pretty cool. I think for every themed Mafia game there should temporarily be emoticons that fit the theme, just to make things more fun.

We might be able to do that. I don't know. I don't wanna make promises. But Doctor Who deserves it.

Finding the emoticons is the easy part. Uploading them takes a while.

Well, lots of people have to make new accounts because we're on a new site. Introextravert had an account on amirite and played a few newbie games. But we do have a really large number of completely new people this game.

I feel like I should offer some advice to those of you who are new. I want this game to be good. Make sure that you're active! Try to get on the thread (not this one, the real one once we post it) at least once or twice a day to add to the conversation and vote. Don't worry about sharing your ideas, even if you think you're wrong, or everyone else thinks you're wrong. Conversation is always good. And don't freak out when people start suspecting you, just stay calm and argue reasonably. I found out the hard way that arguing angrily for your innocence makes you ridiculously suspicious. Ties are bad. Don't cause them. Make sure you send in your night PMs. Role-revealing is annoying. It's not cheating, but it makes you an easy target for the mafia and you won't necessarily be believed.

Oh, and rule #1 of mafia is, of course, that you have to post a pun relating to Doctor Who in the game thread. Even if you know nothing about Doctor Who.
