Mafia 16: The Legend of Zelda

Long ago, the land of Hyrule was prosperous. Ruled by its wise Princess Zelda, protected by the three Goddesses, and blessed by its divine Triforce hidden away in the Sacred Realm, Hyrule knew only peace.

One day, however, a terrible evil crept across the land. A Dark Sorcerer, the evil Ganondorf, broke into the Sacred Realm, the land of the Golden Power, and stole the Triforce of Power. Yet he was angry, as the Triforces of Wisdom and Courage eluded him. He sought to conquer Hyrule to find these missing relics.

But then one day a little boy in green picked up a sword. He was the Hero Link from the forest. And the sword was the Blade of Evil's Bane, the Master Sword. And with the Triforce of Courage, the Hero woke the forgotten powers of Hyrule and sealed the Dark Beast back into the Sacred Realm, the only place apart from Hyrule they could lock him away. They thought that he would never be able to break free. They were wrong.

Welcome to Mafia 16: The Legend of Zelda!

Times: Day will be from 8am - 8pm PST (11 - 11 EST).

Narrators: Saturnlite88 and Winryrockbell27 (PM or skype BOTH of us each night, please. You can PM two people at once for ease.)

Hearts: Every player will begin with three hearts: Three hearts is the MAXIMUM number of hearts that you can have, unless you expand this total by collecting a new Heart Container. Each night, the mafia will attack a number of players, reducing their heart count. If you run out of hearts, you will die and not be able to play the game. If you lose hearts, I will tell you privately how many hearts you lost. However, if you are voted out, you will be banished away regardless of how many hearts you had.

Exploring: Each and every night, you should PM me where you want to go exploring. You will have two main options: to go exploring for rupees, or go adventuring for (harder-to-find) treasures. Here are the options:

Explore: These are good places to find rupees that you will need to power up and refill your hearts! Remember, there is always a chance you will come up empty-handed.

Cut grass in Hyrule Field	Chance of finding smaller items
Search grass in the Lost Woods	Greater chance of finding good items, but greater chance of finding nothing, too
Dive into Lake Hylia	Must have a Zora Tunic
Scale into Death Mountain Volcano	Must have a Goron Tunic

Adventure: These places each have one special treasure. Once that treasure is taken, it is gone. The odds of you getting that treasure are not as good as finding rupees if you had went exploring. But the treasures are certainly worth it, if you think you can go without rupees. when you get to a location, you will be given a puzzle, challenge, or riddle, etc. If you respond with the correct answer that night, you will have a better chance at getting the treasure. Each location also harbors other items beside the treasure. The locations are:

• Kakariko Graveyard
  
• A Secret Cave

Shop:With your rupees, you will be able to spend them at ANY time at the shop. Items cannot be shared or given to other players.

5	Arrow	If you happen to have a bow, each arrow you have will do one heart damage to a player of your choice
20	Bomb	Do three hearts damage to a player of your choice
5	Hylian Shield	Take half damage for one night
15	Zora Tunic	Allows you to breath in Lake Hylia
15	Goron Tunic	Allows you to withstand the heat of Death Mountain
15	Chateau Romani Milk	Get an extra vote for a day (will be publicly announced)
15	Mail	Send a secret message to any person (cost 5 rupees to send)

Rules:

• Do NOT quote your role PM in the game thread or in mail that you send to other players, etc. You may roleclaim, but don't use the words I gave you to do it.
  
• Voting is OPTIONAL. There will be no modkilling for inactivity. But if you don't play, you will not be getting rupees and heart replenishments so you will be easier to kill.
  
• I will not lie to you. Unless you are Pinksponge then I might.
  
• You may not contact players in the game directly. Post publicly in the thread.
  
• PM BOTH saturnlite88 and winryrockbell27 with night actions.

Dekudos to you nuts for such good puns. You guys are really Epona-ing (pwning) it. I wanted at least 3 puns for this... But you can tell when I'm putting in a lot of effort just to tri; forcing out every thing I can. BUT if I were to go to 5 it'd take me til midna-ight. Or just a little time, courage and wisdom... which isn't a pun BUT TRIFORCING OUT THIS MANY, IT'S NOT EASY! I had to fourswords (force words) out of anything I could. I'm sorry I'll just stop... A distant fog settles over Hyrule. Could it be? Could the great evil the Hero sealed away be returning once more?

I'm scared.

The Cuckoo crows. Shrill and sharp, it echos across Kakariko Village, beyond Hyrule field, fills the Lost Woods, and can be heard atop Death Mountain.

But it is Castle Town where the action takes place. A fierce and evil man tried to break into the castle and steal the princess away. Thanks to the guards, all is well, but there are already whispers of Ganondorf's return. Is it true?

Coupled with reports of injuries against townspeople, the King calls forth the Old Wise Men, to prepare the seal on the Sacred Realm. This once Golden Land had become corrupted and dark since Ganon first was sealed inside, and has become the Dark World. The King declares that a culprit should be found and sealed away inside. The townspeople agree.

No one died. If you were attacked, you have been PMed. You have about 11 hours to decide who to seal away!

Ganondorf, or whoever tried to steal the princess, must be pretty dumb, because it is really easy to avoid those guards.
